Big Boobs Are Sexy. FACT.

I have written about my knockers a lot on This Little Lady. Is that a bit freaky? Probably.

I’m honestly not a weirdo or an exhibitionist (well, maybe a little bit). I do, however, have large boobs, and have had a few problems with them over the years. From finding bras to fit, to horrendous PIP issues last year, it’s not been a smooth ride. Big chests are great, but not as easy to handle as you’d like to think!

When they’re not causing pesky health problems though, I love breasts. They’re wonderful things – all womanly and lush and squidgy. Whatever the size, boobies should be appreciated.

As a woman with a reasonable rack, there’s something that has always annoyed me a little bit. There is a complete lack of brands making sexy underwear in bigger sizes for women like me. With the increase in boob jobs over the last few years, and with the lingerie industry being so huge, You would have thought that more companies would have jumped on the big boob bandwagon, but for some reason, we’ve been a bit abandoned.

It’s a shame. I mean, lingerie is important. Women love to wear stunning sets that match, enhance and that you wouldn’t mind being caught in if a bus did happen to run you over* (you’d probably be more annoyed with the bus than with your Bridget Jones pants, but you get the point). And it’s not just us. Men love to buy women gorgeous underwear and then see us in it…and not just for Valentines Day.

If you’re under a DD, you are able to find stunning ranges in just about every shop on the High Street, from Primark to La Perla. E and above? You’re not so lucky. There are a few brands that cater for us, but not many that are both affordable AND sexy. Just because I have a G cup, doesn’t mean I want to wear over the shoulder boulder holders. I still want to look HOT!

Things are changing though. Alexis Smith, a 28 year old Newcastle lass, recognised that there was a huge gap in the market, and set up Alexis Smith Lingerie, specifically for us D+ girls.

The styles are gorgeous, cute, sexy…and best of all, won’t break the bank!

From everyday essentials to something a little more special, they have something for all busty babes.

What do you think – like, love, loathe??

Prices: Sets from £45, Bras are £29.99, Knickers from £14.99

*A dear friend of mine, Colin Butts, wrote “A Bus Could Run You Over” hence the link! It’s a well-written, funny book about love, life, and trouble in Ibiza. Well worth a read…especially if you loved “Is Harry On The Boat?
