With so many amazing launches of London restaurants coming up over the next few months, there’s some serious reservations to be made (and some pennies to save).
Another one to add to the list is Villandry, which is set to open at 6 Waterloo Place, just by Piccadilly Circus. The Grade II listed building, which has experienced a £5million redevelopment by The Crown Estate, is set to serve up to 600 covers a day in three dining areas. Villandry’s main restaurant will offer a menu comprising of Italian, French and Spanish cuisine with ingredients of the highest organic quality from local sources. However, Villandry will act as more than just a dining venue, the addition of a deli area will sell a variety of products including salads, sandwiches and groceries as well as high quality, affordable wines.
Villandry is just one of the new restaurants and facilities in the area, which has undergone an insane £600million redevelopment over the last few years. I’m already a huge fan of Villandry on Great Portland Street (images below), so looking forward to seeing how the new flagship venue turns out. We’ll come back with a review as soon as it’s open!
