October, as we ALL should know, is breast cancer awareness month. (STOP READING AND GO CHECK YOUR TITS. There’s a guide on checking boobs here if you don’t know how. I’ll wait here…)
You’re back? Excellent. Now that we’ve got that bit done, we can get on with some news from one of London’s freshest restaurants on what they’re doing to help this month. Until the end of October, the stylish new(ish) Hotel Chantelle is serving dishes on (rather pretty) pink plates and donating £1 for every dish sold to Against Breast Cancer.
If that doesn’t sound enough, don’t worry. They’re also offering “non-edible” options to enable diners to make a further donation, at £5 for starters and £20 for mains. So delve deep in those pockets and help the cause.
Hotel Chantelle London is a 2,500 square foot restaurant, which offers both indoor and outdoor seating. The vibe is distinctly New York – think fine dining with edge. Best of all for busy Londoners, the restaurant serves dinner until 2am and is open for drinks until 3am, with Chef Seth Levine serving up a French/American menu of delicious sounding dishes. We’ll get a review up for you soon.
(Hotel Chantelle’s NYC location is mirroring the campaign by donating $1 per plate to Susan G. Komen, the world’s largest breast cancer organisation.)
