Some nutty stuff you need to know about

I love nutty things. They smell good and they’re really good for you. Here’s a few that I LOVE and use daily…

  1. Nivea Lip Butter Vanilla & Macademia nivea-vanilla-macadamia-kiss-lip-butterI’ve always had an unhealthy obsession with applying lip balm. I feel like if I stop now, my lips will fall off or worse – become really dry. It started with Vaseline, transitioned into Blistex and lingered on Carmex for a good 10 years. Then I discovered this little pot of magic – and guys I think I’m done for life. It’s the one. It’s nothing like putting body butter on your lips, so don’t worry. It smells absolutely nuts. And by nuts, I mean good. It is really rich, hydrating and plumps up your lips too. And it’s a bloody steal…

  2. Faith in Nature Coconut Body Lotion

Hypoallergenic & paraben free with organic coconut – this stuff is a dream to slather all over your body. Plus it smells like holidays. It’s lightweight but still really hydrating – so you can smother yourself and then get dressed almost straightaway. I’ve had many a compliment on the scent of this one – it’s fresh and not too overpowering. And once again, it’s a bloody steal…
  3. On the pull with coconut oil

There are so many great health benefits to coconut oil – it’s some kind of miracle worker. But for just one – have you heard of oil pulling? It sounds weird but stay with me…Do it a few times a week and it can whiten your teeth, remove plaque and make your breath super fresh. Here’s how you do it…
  • Put 1-2 teaspoons of coconut oil into your mouth. (really gross initially)
  • Swish for 20 minutes. (Really hard as your mouth fills with saliva and runny oil)
  • Spit oil into the bin… (gross)
  • Rinse well with warm water
  • Brush well.
  1. Tesco Finest Seven Nut Granola
IDShot_540x540This. Stuff. Is. The. Nuts. Tastiest granola I’ve ever tasted by far. I’ve been mixing it with a dollop of The Collective’s Scottish raspberry live gourmet yoghurt (also the best yoghurt out there by a mile) and a handful of fresh raspberries and it’s made my morning’s way more exciting. It’s a tasty mix of roasted Turkish hazelnuts, brazils, Californian almonds, cashews and macadamias “the queen of nut” with vibrant pistachios and rich buttery pecans, Carefully blended with smooth Finest Acacia honey, chosen to give a lovely fruity sweetness and gently baked with British oat clusters for a delicious nutty crunch.Image source: anti-agingfirewalls.com
