If you read Love London regularly, you’ll know I’m a rather big fan of bottomless brunches. So I always get a little bit smiley when an email announcing the launch of a new one lands in my inbox. And especially when it’s at somewhere like Asia de Cuba, which I have always loved.
From 3rd October, Asia de Cuba is launching a unique Chino-Latino bottomless brunch, devised by Cuban-born Executive Chef Luis Pous. The restaurant, which was renovated earlier this year, will be offering a decadent three-course brunch menu, accompanied by your choice of bottomless cocktails or champagne.
I like the sound of that.
It’s not a cheap brunch option, but you wouldn’t expect it to be at St Martins Lane Hotel. The food will be of the highest quality and will include sharing dishes like Black Bean Hummus with Malanga Chips, Ceviche de Pescado and Mini Cuban Sandwiches. Diners will also get to choose a signature main course from the A La Carte menu, such as a Breakfast Tortilla with chorizo, eggs and spicy black beans, a Cuban Benedict with BBQ pulled pork and chipotlaise sauce, or Cuban toast, a crispy sweet brioche, rolled in coconut and almonds with guava puree and mascarpone cheese. Unlimited Mexican Doughnuts with a choice of caramel or Thai chili-chocolate dip will round off the three brunch courses.
UNLIMITED DOUGHNUTS AND UNLIMITED BOOZE.
You could stay there all day, couldn’t you?
Well. For £48 per person for the cocktail option (which comes with unlimited Bloody Marys, Mojitos, Mimosas or Bellinis) or £70 per person for the Champagne option, you wouldn’t be getting bad value for money at all if you did.
The brunch will be available from 12-4pm every Saturday and Sunday and you even get complimentary parking for this time. Do note, however, taht the unlimited drinks option only lasts for 2 hours. So I guess you better cram in as much as possible during that time!*
(*Joking. Always drink responsibly. Except on your birthday. NO. Even on your birthday.)
