The best thing about January is holiday planning and this year I am more excited than ever because I’m going on my first ever, proper girls holiday! Now I’m a little bit late to this party, but I guess the best thing about doing it in our thirties instead of our twenties is the fact that we can actually do it in style!
It may be three months away, but I’m already planning my holiday wardrobe, it’s a serious business – especially when the people you’re going with are super-glamorous! Luckily February is actually a great time to start thinking about summer wardrobes; the shops are coming out of sales and into their spring/summer range so even if you’re not buying just yet, you can get inspired.
Here are a few of the things that I’ve got my eye on:
Ok, so I’ve already bought this, but I’m really picky about bikinis and ASOS had 10% off this week, so why not?
(use offer code VALENTINE10 to get 10% off EVERYTHING. But hurry up it finishes at midnight tonight!)
Maxi dresses were my staple last year and I’ll definitely be living in them again this summer, but midi dresses are all over the place right now and are brilliantly versatile so worth the investment. Topshop has a great selection, like this one:
Top Shop Space Dye Tank Midi Dress : £32
I have so many pairs of sandals, but at such a bargain price from New Look, these tan fringed sandals are a definite:
New Look Fringed Sandals: £17
I’ve been looking for a pair of cage style shoes forever and these beauties from Zara are exactly what I’ve been looking for so will definitely be snapping them up:
Zara Strappy High-Heel Sandals: £49.99
I’m the girl who always takes a straw trilby on holiday, but never wears it and this year will be no different, except I will also be investing in a Lakers snapback. Well, I will be in LA after all! Pick one up at the NBA store here:
LA Lakers New Era 9Fifty Snapback Cap – £14.63 (down from £24.38)
So there you go! That’s the first #wardrobewishes from the lovely Katy Cotsworth. You’ll be hearing more from her soon.
