The venue was the amazing Wallace Collection on Manchester Square, W1. The occasion was the launch of Dame Viviennes “Get a Life” jewellery collection for Palladium. The amazing pieces are inspired by nature and is said to represent ‘strength, luck, power and hope for change to make the environment better for the future’. The limited edition range features symbols including trees, hearts and my personal favourite, teeny acorn charms and pendants. Extremely chic and super-cute.
The party itself was, as you can imagine, spectacular. The champagne was Perriet Jouet, the canapes were delicious, the acoustic performance by Jessie J (wearing a crown from the collection which was truly stunning) in the courtyard was out of this world, and the guestlist was, as you’d expect, full of the finest Fashionistas and Londons elite. Olivia Palermo (teeny), Lily Cole, Jameila Jamil (taller than I imagined), Cara Devigne, Olivia Inge, Henry Conway, Jo Wood, Plan B (charming) and George Craig added to the beauty of the regal surroundings, while Beth Ditto arrived a little later in the evening to celebrate her birthday.
All in all an amazing evening. But you’d expect nothing less from Dame Viv.
I recommend taking a look at the collection* as soon as you can when it hits stores next week and if you haven’t been to The Wallace Collection yet, go soon. An incredible venue housing one of Europes finest collections of works of art.
* Don’t blame me if you want it all. I do!
