If, like me, December is destroying your bank account – you’ll already be looking forward to the Christmas sales. And we all know there’s one place that does the sales a little bit bigger and better than anyone else – Harrods.
People come from miles around to pass by those doormen and peruse the treasures within the world-famous Knightsbridge store to try to snap themselves up a bargain.
If you’re planning on visiting this year, be prepared for something a little different. As well as the great discounts on offer, Harrods have teamed up with Cirque du Soleil for a special performance to mark the 25th anniversary of the official Harrods Sale openings.
This is the first time in history that a performance act has been called upon to celebrate the sales – and the show comes ahead of Cirque du Soleil’s KOOZA tour, which arrives at London’s Royal Albert Hall on Saturday 5th January 2013.
If you want to check out the extravaganza for yourself, head to Harrods Door 5 on Hans Crescent for 9.45am on Wednesday 26th December. I’d get there early though if you want a good view. The official sale starts at 10am.
May just be the most exciting Boxing Day morning you’ve had in a while!
