First of all, let me start with a huge, massive apology, as I’ve been neglecting Love London recently. And that’s BAD.
However – the reasons have been good, I promise.
The last couple of months have been busy. REALLY busy. It all started with a semi-drunk conversation with friends about what it is that sets my soul on fire. And while I love writing, what really fills me with joy is helping others see their visions come to life. And…without meaning to blow my own trumpet…I think I’m pretty good at it.
Let me explain.
Love London was started 8 years ago, under the name thislittleladywenttolondon.com. It then became thislittlelady.co.uk before we finally landed here, at Love London, in 2014. Over those years, I’ve changed everything a thousand times (it reminds me of the Trigger/Broom scene in Only Fools and Horses), and the design of the site has become more and more attractive with every change.
People started asking me who put Love London together – and the answer was me. So I started helping others make their sites beautiful too. Then, came the questions about social media. So I set up lots of accounts for friends, who also saw lots of success after my training. And then came requests for logos, and explanations on how to work with Bloggers…and on and on it went. The best bit? I LOVE doing this. I love helping Bloggers and small business owners make the most of their time online, and it’s fantastic when they come back to me and tell me they have won new customers, or grown their audience thanks to the steps we’ve taken together.
So, yesterday, I finally launched www.jjmiller.co.uk. It’s a portfolio of my work (more to be added!) and a little explanation about what I do as a Digital Consultant. I’m really, really excited about working with small businesses to help them understand and harness the power of the online world.
I’d love you to go and have a little nosey, and please do let me hear your thoughts in the comment box below.
2016 has been an excellent year so far (12 days in!) and I can’t wait to see where this new journey takes me.
In the words of the wonderful David Bowie, who so sadly passed on the day I launched the business:
Thank you to all who have shown such overwhelming support so far. Please also take a moment to check out my new social profiles…and like if you like!
