Love Baking? Get involved with the Great Pink Bake Off

As most of us will already know by now, October is Breast Cancer Awareness month. The This Little Lady team have been raising money for, and organising events for the cause for years, and this year, we’re encouraging you guys to do the same!

Baking has seen a huge resurgence in popularity recently, not least in thanks to the simply marvelous Great British Bake Off. (Who can resist the sweet sensation of Berry and Hollywood?!) Our instagram and facebook feeds are full of proud pictures of friend’s creations, from basic brownies to magnificent, beautifully decorated cakes, worthy of a prize somewhere fancy.

There’s loads of stuff you can download from the Great Pink Bake Off site, including bunting, posters, flyers and invitations, to make sure your sale goes with a bang. There are also heaps of recipes, tips and photos of other people’s bakes, so you can grab some inspiration if you’re in need of some!

The official date for the event is Friday 18th October, but if that date doesn’t work for you don’t worry. Your sale can take place any day in October, so you have plenty of time to get organised and work out how to make the most amount of cash possible for this fantastic cause. Unfortunately, we all know someone who has been affected by breast cancer – so let’s use this opportunities to do something fun, raise money for charity and help #kickcancer.
