My husbands mother suffered from pregnancy arthritis 50 years ago. Over the years the illness has completely over whelmed her body. A couple of weeks ago, her arm fractured from trying to open a drawer. Her daughter, Tanya is getting married in a month’s time and Iris is not happy. She is so worried about what she can wear to the wedding that will slip over head and cover the cast.
We are all rallying around and her grandchildren are being delightful

This is amazing! I don’t think I could even put into words why my mum is the best! It would take a lifetime of writing. I currently reside in London and studying to get my masters and my mom is in Chicago. Not a day goes by that I don’t think about her or realize how much I actually miss her. Growing up, my mom sacrificed a lot for my sisters and me by moving from her homeland of pakistan to the states, and as a child/bratty teenager I never really realised it. At 24, I appreciate her so much for being such a generous and kind hearted woman and for providing her family with all she could through hard work. All three of her daughters are in different cities and I would give anything to be with her for Mother’s Day to spoil her but unfortunately that won’t be possible. Sending her this would make her feel so appreciated (and save my poor college girl bank account). She deserves the best and writing this is making me teary eyed bc I know I have the best mama in the world! Thanks for doing this awesome giveaway and good luck to all the wonderful mums in the world 🙂 x

I would give this to my sister, the best mum that I know,
She has an inner wisdom, and a lovely kind glow.
She knows when to be stern, she knows when to be kind.
She is the best mum in the world, the best you’ll ever find.
Her daughter is a sweetie, and is just the bravest girl,
Always laughing with her friends, life in a teenage swirl!
She has grown to be a darling, her thinking is quite sound,
All because my sister is the best mum around!

That one person you can depend upon to always be there.
She always makes me feel that I am never alone. She is my helping hand – that we all need from time to time, she’s always ready to listen to my troubles and will take them all on as though they were her own.
She has shared in all the dreams I have had, she is that one person who always builds up my self-esteem; you know the one person that tells you “you can”, even when you feel you can’t!
I know she cares for me with ALL her heart and she truly is The Best Friend Of All.

My mum deserves, a special treat,
To make her mothers day, totally complete.
She’s picked me up, when I’ve been down,
And with her smile, got rid of my frown.
She’s taught me well, so I can achieve my dreams,
Through the years, we’ve made a great team.
This gorgous prize, would make her grin,
To repay her kindness, please let me win!

When you hear people say that their mum is a super mum you think “yeah,ok?”…..but im serious, my mum seriously is. since i was young my mum has done everything in her power to bring me and my then sister and brother up the best of her ability. she had her own disabilities and mental health issues but still continued to solider on. Now im 23, her circumstances have changed. She has been blessed with in total 6 kids, 5, a boy who is energetic and always on the go, 9 a young girl, a 11 year old boy who suffers from seveer autisum, anxiety and gets very affraid of being alone. he doesnt eat, toilet, sleep or is unable to attend school. My mother tends to his every need, feeding, helping him use the toilet, teaching him, comforting him when he has his tantrums and is smacking his head from walls. She still suffers from her own disabilities, she has arthtritus in her hip and knee, mental health issues and phsycological disorders and seveer COPD and to top it off she looks after her disabled mother who is unable to walk, look after herself and has numerous other health issues. My mum plods on day by day, sometimes with no sleep, unable to finish her coffee or even sit down until her body colapses but she never ever complains. she is the most inspiritng woman and she is my hero. if i could be like anyone it would be her and everyone should recognise her good heart, kind and caring nature. she isnt just my mum but my best friend and she is the most amazing lady im proud to call her my mother.

My mum is no longer with me and I grew up with her suffering from multiple sclerosis. I know a lot of people may say it sounds corny but I can honestly say that she never complained about her predicament and, although restricted in what she could do physically, was always there to support me both when at home and when I left, got married and had children.

All for me, a stressed out mum of teenage boys who’s life revolves around taking a car full of stinky muddy lads to football twice a week, constant taxi service now they are socialising, trying to have a conversation with said boys which consists of grunts or blank looks, an endless task of buying new trainers on paydays and don’t even start on the monthly mobile bills

    Stress kit seriously needed! 🙂

My Mum is an amazing Mum, she has always been amazing but I got ill in childhood and by 17 I was completely bedbound, unable to talk, drink or turn over in bed. 10 years on I am still bedbound. My Mum cares for me, keeps our household a happy place and has had to sacrifice so much to look after me, but has never complained once. She keeps me positive, happy and there is a LOT of laughter in our household.

I would love to send my Mum to London to see a musical and have a break but I’m not able to be left, however I would love to enter this competition as enjoying a relaxing lush bath and pampering will give Mum some well deserved time/treat just for herself as she gives so much of her self to others.

I think that my mam deserves to win the mother’s day competition for being the most selfless, loving, caring+courageous mam in the world.
She has put her life on hold for the last 10years since i was diagnosed with an inoperable brain tumour, fighting for treatment+proper care for me, and taking me to hospital in London every 3months for pain control treatment.
She even spent her 60th birthday at my bedside in hospital in London!
She’s done all this while being ill herself+takes it all in her stride.
Love her all the world and more+think she deserves so much pampering+thanks xx

It’s something simple but i’ll always remember. No matter how old I am, she’s there for whatever the reason is. It used to be a kiss and a cuddle for a grazed knee, and now it’s a kiss and a cuddle after a harsh breakup. She’s my best friend. x

My Mum has had a ridiculously tough couple of years dealing with her mental health and building bridges with her family and whilst I would absolutely buy her this I’m currently in my final year at uni and basically penniless so can’t. I know this would absolutely cheer her up as she LOVES Lush. And to top it off it’s her birthday on the 9th March and I can’t visit her as I will be at an interview in London (she lives in Devon) trying to get a job so I can start treating my Mum in the future. xxx M
