We MAY have mentioned this before…but the team at This Little Lady bloody love a good burger.
Luckily for us, it doesn’t look like there’s any sign of the industry in London slowing down. New venues seem to be popping up every month…and the quantity is matched, absolutely, by the quality.
The latest venue to open is the fourth in the Honest Burger chain, at 189 Portobello Road. They’ve come a long way since 2011, when the first Honest Burger arrived in Brixton Village. The venue quickly becoming a must-visit destination for burger lovers from all over town. Further restaurants opened in Camden and Soho…but the Notting Hill addition is the first in West London – and is bound to be just as popular.
Honest Burgers are reasonably priced, well conceived and use the best ingredients, including quality meat sourced from one of London’s best Butchers – The Ginger Pig. The menu is minimal but the results are great; Time Out gave Honest Burgers 5 stars, and the notoriously tough food critic, Marina O’Loughlin, pronounced the restaurant was;
“SURE TO BECOME A CULT DESTINATION”
And that it has.
The new venue is set to (soft) open it’s doors next week and we’re looking forward to getting in to review as soon as possible.
If you want to be one of the first to try it out – put the 13th October in your diary. The new restaurant will be hosting an “honesty night”, where you pay what you think your meal is worth. A great way to try out the new venue…But be fair!
Honest Burgers will be at 189 Portobello Road, Notting Hill, London, W11 2ED | http://www.honestburgers.co.uk/
