Prosecco for a Penny? I’ll Take 2.

Brunch Black Penny Covent Garden

Sometimes, I think my inbox knows all my secrets.

How else would it know to entice me with emails telling me about Prosecco for a Penny? I mean. That’s my personal Nirvana, right there.

With weekend brunches becoming much more fashionable than breakfast, it’s always nice to hear about a new offering, such as the one at The Black Penny, in Covent Garden.

Dishes such as…

  • Crispy Confit Duck & Sweet Potato Hash with Baby Spinach, Spring Onion & a Poached Egg
  • Grilled Pork & Sage Sausages with Bubble & Squeak, Black Penny BBQ sauce & a Fried Egg
  • Coln Valley Smoked Salmon with Green Eggs & Toasted Sourdough
  • French Toast with Spiced Apple Compote, Candied Walnuts & Maple served with Crispy Smoked Bacon or Vanilla Ricotta.

…are all available, but more excitingly, with every plate you order, you can get a glass of Prosecco for just 1p.

I love this idea.

You can also get great coffee too. But Prosecco for a penny is obviously way more fun.

The Black Penny Brunch menu is available from¬†9am-3pm Saturday and Sundays only. It’s reasonably priced, and looks delicious, so I can’t wait to try it. To find out more, take a look at their website. Or you know, pop along and try it for yourself. Looks DELICIOUS.
