Robert Downey Jr (can avenge me anytime…)

(Reblogged with added images. Originally posted 15/05/12 on thislittleladywenttolondon.com)

I could pretend I’m about to write about The Avengers Assemble. I mean, I probably should, seeing as it’s taken well over $1billion at the box office and had the biggest opening weekend EVER. But in my mind, there’s only one real reason to go and see Marvel’s blockbuster.

Robert. Downey. Jnr.

He was huge in the 80’s, got arrested A LOT in the 90’s and is now one of Hollywood’s most respected Actor’s, having made a huge career come-back in the noughties.

And naughty is how I like to think of him.

I’ve come over all unnecessary looking at those. The man is 47, I tell you. 47! Not quite old enough to be my Dad, so still perfectly acceptable.

If you have seen Avengers and are waiting for your next RDJ fix, you’ll have to wait until next year I’m afraid. Iron Man 3 is currently in pre-production. There’s also rumour circulating that he’ll be appearing alongside Tom Cruise again in El-Presidente, from Tropic Thunder Director Jay Roach. Watch this space.

Hmm. Now, off to do some real work, I suppose.

(Obviously I didn’t take, and therefore don’t own any of the photo’s used. They’re just pretty, and purely for entertainment purposes)

    Lovely post.
Do you know where the ‘coffee and papers’ pictures was found, maybe photographer etc.?
I was instantly attached to it and have been looking all over the internet since finding it, it’d be a really big help if you could tell me.

    Hi Cara,

I’m sorry I don’t, but I’ll investigate for you and see if I can find out!
