SATC2 DVD Launch Party…

I love having party invites on Monday nights. Gets the week of to a fantastic start. Quite frankly this is needed when the entire city is shut down because of snow. Meh. Being a total Carrie Bradshaw fanatic (more so when she was still single and fabulous!), I happily dressed for the weather and braved the snow to get to the Swarovski CRYSTALLIZED Lounge, just off Regent Street and attend the official launch party for Sex And The City – 2 DVD – hosted by Willie Garson (Stanford Blacth). Amazeballs.

If you haven’t been to the venue and get an invited to go, you should. It really is one of the hidden gems in London. Love it up there. We got ticked off the guest list and up we go. Drinks are on standby and I am ready to mingle. The evening is liquidized by our good friends at SKYY Vodka, fabulous cocktails and champagne (of course, you couldn’t have a SATC party without bubbles). Music was “handled” by Jade Williams and Jameela Jamil (who was wearing the most amazing pair leopard print heels) and they did an amazing job.

It was the usual crowd for this kind of event, Brian Freedman + man, they look identical (I tried not to pull my best moves). Sinitta was working some high black boots (I tried not to sing MachoMan). The girls from The Only Way is Essex were a lovely bunch, and if you’re a fan of the show you’ll be pleased to know another series is coming. Plus, I chatted about fierce fashion with Marian Kihogo, who is now secured her place as my style queen. She looked incredible.

We were able to see the jewels from the movie, some were really quite amazing and the funny thing is that you actually remember seeing them on screen. Or this could just be me and my eagle eyes. Canapés were delish and the drinks never stopped. I may have been told off for dancing. It was a really nice party to be honest, great crowd, music, drinks and nibbles.

I really couldn’t complain, plus I did swap words with Willie Garson, so bite me.
