The London Lifestyle Awards 2015…

While I used to hold on pretty tightly to my party-girl crown, life isn’t quite so full of lavish events and nights out these days. So when I do make an exception, it’s going to be for something FUN. Something like the London Lifestyle Awards.

Last week, the great and the good of London gathered at the Park Lane Hilton for a night of recognition, delicious food, celebrations and entertainment. Now in its 6th year, the London Lifestyle Awards acknowledge the best businesses in London (nominated by YOU), and it’s always a night to remember. A few years ago I was honoured to be on the committee – but this year it was simply about praise for London’s greatest!

We arrived early and were instantly surrounded by celebrities, there to present awards, mingle with the winners and have a fabulous time. Among them were Sinitta, Caprice, Ben Cohen, Amy Childs, Vanessa Feltz and Ben Ofoedu, Casey Batchelor, Kristina Rihanoff, Ben Cohen and Chloe Jasmine Wichello & Stevi Richie. The venue, London’s Park Lane Hilton, was out of this world and looked incredible.

We were sat next to Zara Holland, the current Miss Great Britain for dinner and it was an absolute pleasure to get to know her – she’s a really down to earth, kind and beautiful lady. OK, OK, after a couple of wines I may have stolen the crown…but I suspect you would have too…TEMPTATION!

Dinner was lovely, and the entertainment from the London Cabaret Club at Bloomsbury Ballrooms (and a surprise song from X-Factor contestant Anton Stephans) was breathtaking. Of course, the main event of the evening was the presentation of awards to London’s best businesses, compèred by the brilliant Ian Royce, so here are the winners in each category:

Best Club: Mahiki

Best Bar: Mayor of Scaredy Cat Town

Best Restaurant: Novikov

Best Hotel: Ham Yard Hotel

Best Fashion Retailer: Melissa Odabash

Best Concierge Company: Innerplace

Best Coffee Shop: The Espresso Room

It was a brilliant evening and a great opportunity to catch up with old friends, including the LLAwards Founder Jason Gale, and fellow blogger Zoe Griffin (LiveLikeaVIP).

It was honestly one of my favourite nights of the year so far and I was thrilled to be a small part of the night. Roll on 2016 – we’ll let you know when the nominations open for next year!
