This weekend (May 10th-12th), London is hosting it’s very own basketball festival in Trafalgar Square. The Turkish Airlines Euroleague Fan Zone is a free, outdoor festival (for both basketball and non-basketball fans alike). Games, activites and basketball contents will take place in a weather-proof Main Court which hosts two full courts complete with a 15-meter-high roof.
The festival runs alongside the Euroleague Final Four, the signature event of the premier European clubs basketball competition. The four best teams of the season compete to become Euroleague champions.
The worlds best Mayor, Boris Johnson launched the festival earlier this week in his own, brilliant style.
Get along and take part in the family friendly fun which will include hooting contests, cheerleading lessons & demos, basketball 3 on 3s, music, player appearances, photo opportunities with the Champions Trophy and more!
Another great thing to do in London. I love this city.
The Euroleague Fan Zone is open today, Saturday and Sunday from 11am – 7pm at Trafalgar Square.
