It’s been a rather fantastic week in London (if you don’t include the weather of course). After all the madness of LFW I was planning to take it easy, but This Little Lady doesn’t really know how to take it easy….
Friday night saw us popping into fab East London restaurant Mustik for dinner – keep your eyes peeled for the review that will be coming soon. If you’re in the area, definitely drop in, we recommend it!
Saturday saw us visit some of the most fabulous bars in London, culminating with my inaugural trip to the Kingly Club for some delicious Champagne and even better company. It’s exclusive, it’s hidden but it’s wonderful. If you haven’t been and get the chance, go. Much fun. In fact…too much fun!
Much less fancy but equally enjoyable was Monday nights visit to Balham Bowls Club, super-cool, quirky venue with quite possibly the best sausage rolls I have ever eaten. If you’re a fan of shabby chic and comfy sofas, head to the BBC. It’s even dog-friendly. Love the place!
Yesterday was a visit to the events space at Battersea Power Station for the Digi Awards – celebrating excellence in Digital Media. Worthy winners included the guys at Three for their corporate blog, and the Met Police for their “Choose a different ending” campaign. The dress code was “Not Black Tie” but I’ve never been very good at following rules and got myself spruced up in this incredible dress from Karen Millen – LOVE it!
Today was a visit to the luxurious surroundings of Soho House to discuss some future events and to negotiate on your behalf…watch this space for some amazing news that will hugely benefit YOU!
Tomorrow, a trip to the Opal Bar in Embankment for a wild and crazy send off to a friend & colleague – apparently the waitresses zoom around on roller-skates so I can only imagine the fun we’ll have….
And then the weekend starts again…who knows what it will bring?
That’s my week in a nutshell – what have you been up to? Please do let us know of any great restaurants, bars or experiences you’ve had in London this week so we can spread the love (and investigate ourselves of course!) We will add all of your suggestions to our London’s Best Bits column, and of course credit you for the tip off!
