This week, Gillray’s Steakhouse and Bar, situated on the South Bank inside the 5* Marriott Hotel at County Hall, introduces 2 new menu’s in time for the Queen’s Jubilee.
Firstly, perfect for when you’re pressed for time, the Express Dining Menu. Ideal for speedy business lunches, or pre/post theatre bites, you are guaranteed to be served within the hour. The menu consists of a range of Gillray’s favourites, and costs just £22.00 for 2 courses and £25.00 for three. The Express Menu is available daily from 12:00pm – 2:00pm, then 5:00pm – 6:30pm and again after 9:00pm. The menu is perfectly complimented by the wide variety of English gin cocktails available from the bar.
Then, for those after a more traditional dining experience, there is the Diamond Jubilee menu. Due to the restaurant’s perfect position on the banks of the Thames, in full view of the celebratory Regatta, Executive Chef Gareth Bowen has prepared a special all-day menu, featuring four courses and a delicious cocktail, a bespoke jubilee punch, to mark the momentous occasion. Eat, drink and watch the flotillas drift by for just £75 per person – available on Sunday, 3rd June, from 12:00pm onwards.
