The Whisky Show is a luxury whisky event showcasing the finest examples of the distiller’s art. It will take place at The Old Brewery in London on Friday 29th and Saturday 30th October 2010.

Focusing on premium and ultra premium bottlings (longer aged whisky and special bottlings), The Whisky Show will offer a fantastic opportunity for the knowledgeable connoisseur, investor or whisky drinker wanting to learn more.

As well as being an opportunity to sample some of the world’s finest whiskies, The Whisky Show is about an all round, enjoyable and fun experience with Highland dining, whisky cocktails, relaxation areas and live jazz all within the authentic surroundings of the old Whitbread’s Brewery.

Visitors to The Whisky Show will be treated to a two course whisky infused meal created by the renowned chefs at the Craggen Mill Restaurant, Graham Harvey and Sheila McConachie. Along with this, there is the opportunity to take part in tastings led by master blenders such as Richard Paterson of Whyte & Mackay, allowing people to broaden their whisky knowledge by learning from the best.

Guests will be also able to experiment with a range of delicious food pairing suggestions including Balvenie whisky with Charbonnel et Walker chocolate.

As well as entry to the show, a delicious meal and the opportunity to sample over 200 whiskies including Indian, Japanese and even English whiskies, visitors will have the chance to sample one Ultra Premium whisky. These rare and older whiskies will be up to 60 year old and up to £3,500 in value.

For those who are fans of mixology, Makers Mark has created a special cocktail for the show which will be available from one of the cocktail bars.
