There’s been a whole lot of divided opinion about the Nine Elm’s development in Battersea. While Boris promised it would regenerate this London neighbourhood – concerns are rising. With prices for Embassy Gardens starting at £600,000 (yes, starting at…) it isn’t exactly the most affordable housing option – and it’s likely many of the apartments will be bought by overseas investors, meaning there’s unlikely to be much community spirit.
But – sensible opinion aside – they look like they’re going to be pretty cool, don’t they? I mean – there’s a residents only swimming pool 10 storeys up with a completely clear bottom…so you can swim 35 metres in the air looking down on everyone below. I love it….but also find it terrifying
What do you think? Would you love to live here, or be too scared to ever set foot in the pool? Do you think Londoners are being priced out of yet another area? Or are you registering your interest already?!
