Oooh, it’s been a little while since I’ve done one of these, thanks to holidays and hospitals and things. But the change in the weather has given me the perfect excuse to scour the web for some fabulous new fashion finds for autumn. And what lovely things I’ve found.
It’s one of my favourite times of year fashion wise. Clothes get cosy, colours get deeper, fabrics get softer and you can mix and match your textures to your hearts content. The shops are packed with gorgeous garments at the moment so the wishlist is longer than usual. I guess I better start saving…unless anyone wants to buy any of it for me? No? Didn’t think so!
Here are my top picks from the shops this week:
Pasco Jacket
£895: All Saints
Amazingly gorgeous shearling jacket in a beautiful style. Imagine: Sunday, strolling along with the person you love, heading for a roast, kicking leaves, laughing, wrapped up cosy and warm in this. YES PLEASE. OK, so it’s bloody expensive….but there’s no upper price limit on wishes! And this is the type of jacket you would literally wear for seasons, so you’d get your moneys worth. Honest.
Hunter Gold “Original Brit” Wellington Boots
Daniel Footwear – £125
I am a sucker for a Union Jack. Not in the Ginger Spice dress kind of way, but when it’s done well it can look uber-stylish. I fell in love with these Hunter Wellies the moment I saw them – how amazing would these be over your skinnies? You would have absolutely NO excuse not to jump in puddles, and look bloody cool while you’re doing it. Wonderful.
Hush Loungewear
Cashmere Tunic £135
I’ve been a fan of Hush for years but unfortunately don’t have nearly as much of their stuff as I’d like. I spend 90% of my time at home, working from home, lazing at home, entertaining at home, and I love to be cosy – and Hush is perfect for that. I would probably buy just about everything on the site if I could afford to – but this Cashmere is right at the top of my list. Can you imagine the softness? Yummy!
Sol Round Toe Knee High Boot
LK Bennett – £225 (was £325)
OK, OK, a second pair of boots. But Autumn is all about Boots, right? Long, short, wedge, flat, heel. They’re all winners. But these leg-lengthening lovelies caught my eye at LK Bennett, and I have to have them over the next month or so. They’re perfect for pretty much any outfit – a dress, leggings, skinnies, whatever. The heel isn’t sky high, so they’re great for day or evening. Plus – they’re in the sale. What more does a girl need??
“Boys” Sweatshirt
My-Wardrobe – £94
YES! This is all 80’s and perfect. I love it! Loungey and comfy and stylish and gorgeous, all at the same time. Team with denim and a pair of wedge trainers. @helenafleur needs this in her life. I do too!
Jacquard Knitted Dress
Ted Baker – £145
This dress is absolutely perfect for all those events that happen in Autumn. Keep legs bare if you can, or team with opaque tights when it’s just too chilly. This dress ticks all the boxes for trends this season and again, great for day to evening. I love it!
Jumpsuit
Ted Baker – £189
Another one from Ted Baker! It’s one of those brands I forget about for ages, then rediscover and remember I love them. This jumpsuit is simply stunning, flattering, stylish and easy to wear, just about anywhere. Just like the model in the photo, pair with some red high heels, add a gorgeous jacket and it’s perfect for the season. I think I’m in love.
Agent Provocateur Lingerie
Ameliah from Agent Provocateur. Starts at £95
I love love LOVE Agent Provocateur – and the Ameliah collection is absolutely perfect for AW12. Deep red and black, this is perfect for spicing up cold nights, or just making yourself feel super confident under your knitwear! The French lace looks flimsy but the bra is highly sculptured so will look fabulous on just about anyone up to a DD. WANT.
Have a great weekend everyone! x
