Come along to our Blogger Meet-Up in Kings Cross!

The Blogger community is awesome.

On the whole we’re a considerate, friendly bunch, who have each other’s backs, enjoy supporting each other and will happily help up-and-coming Bloggers…while still admitting we can learn so much as we can from each other. There are some fantastic online groups and resources, where we can ask and offer advice, and in many cases, make new friends. But there’s nothing quite like meeting up in real life and getting to know new people who ‘get’ what you do, and have been where you are. It’s so much nicer to talk about Blogging with other people who understand and love it, rather than to your family and friends who often meet your conversation with a blank stare…

So, after putting the idea out there a couple of weeks ago, and getting a fantastic response, I’m pleased to say that I’ve managed to arrange a brilliant Blogger meet-up in Central London. The details are as follows:

MI+ME is a gorgeous new urban deli, serving the best of British Cheeses and Meats. They specialise in hand carved deli style sandwiches and meat & cheese boards tailored to your personal preferences, plus hearty burgers and mac’n’cheese for the hungrier amongst us! They also have a great drinks menu, which includes craft beers, wines and cocktails bottled in-house each day.

The lovely team there are offering us Bloggers a free drink on the night to welcome us to the venue, and there will be food and drinks to buy as the evening progresses of course. They’re keeping the venue free especially for us so if you like it, please do send a tweet or instagram some pics to thank them!

There is room for about 50 of us, so if you wish to come please do reserve a ticket using the form below. They are all free, this just helps us keep track of numbers! As you’ll see, you can get a full event ticket if you can be there all evening, but also order an early ticket if you know you’ll have to shoot off early, or a late one if you know you’ll not be able to get there at the start. This allows us to see as many as possible of you on the evening.

It would also be great if you could comment in the box at the bottom of this page to let us know you’re coming (with your name, blog link and maybe twitter handle so people can follow you in advance).

It’s going to be a very informal Blogger event, with good chat and the opportunity to meet some fab new faces (or catch up with some you already know). Whether you’re completely comfortable meeting new people or a bit nervous, I promise we’ll make it a friendly night where you can relax and have fun in the company of people who all have a genuine interest in what you do. There’ll be no brands to impress, notes to take (unless you want to!), expectations or reasons to be nervous, just a relaxed night full of awesome people all being the best they can at what they love – BLOGGING!
