Fairly obviously, I spend quite a lot of my life on the internet.
If I’m not here, I’m probably doing something in social media. And when I’m not working, I’m probably browsing, catching up with feedly, or shopping. I LOVE shopping.
Online shopping, that is. I was never a huge fan of spending Saturday afternoons chasing through shopping malls. Traipsing from shop to shop, queuing at the changing rooms, hopping around in your pants in the freezing cold and staring at yourself in those awful mirrors…then queuing again to pay and repeating ten minutes later. So for me, e-commerce was heaven sent, and these days click and pay is the only way to go. While predictably I often buy from the usual suspects, such as ASOS, AllSaints and My-Wardrobe, I also love finding unique little boutiques from independent owners, whose online boutiques reflect their personal style.
My latest find is Elle Belle Attire, an online boutique owned and run by Erin McGinley. Originally, Erin sold clothes to friends via facebook, where she came to my attention, and I bought myself some lovely pieces last summer. Since then, the Elle Belle Attire website has launched, along with a gorgeous shop that you can visit in Radlett (by appointment only, before you set off!)
Erin has a great eye and her collections are always bang on trend. Already popular with celebs (Billie and Cara from TOWIE are often seen in EBA garms), the current collection is full of floral prints, sporty dresses and bright colours. Best of all, prices stay reasonable and rarely go higher than around £150, even for stand out pieces…so there’s always something gorgeous to be found.
The new Spring range is available now – and if last year was anything to go by, there will be some STUNNING summer pieces in soon too, including hand beaded, bespoke bikinis and kaftans which flew out of stock within days.
Erin is always on hand to answer questions about colours and sizes, which helps when you can’t try things on, and makes sure everything is despatched quickly so you don’t have to wait for ages for your gorgeous new clothes to arrive.
Take a look at the site and let me know what you think!
Please note – this was originally written in 2013! Since then Elle Belle Attire have launched a beautiful boutique in Radlett, Herts, and are still one of my favourite fashion finds. We’ll feature more of Erin and Cara in the coming months, but in the meantime find them on insta.

I might prefer the traditional shopping methods rather than go online and hunt for fashion items – IF only the brick-and-mortar shopping offers the same practical reasons. Now the fact that I can hunt for unlimited products from my gadget, compare prices, get updated about hot deals, free shipping ans free returns (in some stores), read reviews from other previous buyers, I just rarely find any reason to go out and shop at department stores anymore unless when I feel the need to go out and see real stuff.
I love your blog.. very nice colors & theme. Did you create this website yourself or
