Ergon Restaurant & Deli Brings a Real Taste of Greece to London…

Ergon London

If, like me, you’re a fan of authentic Greek cuisine, you’ll be pleased to hear that the doors of Ergon, an authentic Greek restaurant-come-deli, opened it’s doors for the first time today.

Situated on Picton Place, moments away from Oxford Street, the London restaurant is the first international opening for the brand, which already has 6 venues in Greece. Said to be “both a celebration and reinvention of Mediterranean culture” they use and supply “the finest ingredients sourced from small independent producers” and pride themselves on updating and adding a unique twist to the authentic classics we know and love.

Ergon London DeliThe beautifully designed venue is divided over two floors, and the restaurant will serve both lunch and dinner. Dishes will include; black tzatziki flavoured with squid ink to fava topped with truffle oil and caramalised onions, slow-cooked lamb (0f course), Gruyere cheese rolled with oats and drizzled with syrup and fried egg with staka cream. Each dish is designed for sharing, and they hope each customer will sample a host of plates, dips and sides (with prices starting from just £5).

Of course, customers who have enjoyed their food in the restaurant then have the option of purchasing the unique Ergon products to try their hand at authentic Greek cuisine in the comfort of their own home.

Ergon can be found at 16 Picton Place, London, W1U 1BP | Find out more about Ergon London at their website, on facebook or on twitter.
