Most (some?) of you will know that when I’m not doing this, I usually have my fingers in some social media pies. It’s what I do…talk to strangers all day online, and hopefully make your experience of talking to strangers online become a little bit better too. A worthy profession…cough.
I always enjoy seeing a quality piece of work (content) that’s spreading like wildfire (going viral – don’t you just hate buzzwords). Much better than “like this if you’re against murder” type posts. Not that I’m NOT against people being murdered. It’s horrible. I just don’t think I need to press like on a facebook page to let people know my thoughts on the matter. Ridiculous.
Anyway, this morning this AMAZING video popped up in my facebook newsfeed. It’s “liked” by 2313 people, shared 366 times and has 122 comments – so while maybe not the biggest “hit” ever in terms of numbers, still pretty good. It’s a montage of clips representing the last decade in terms of life at Sailor Jerry’s and it’s a fantastic insight into an incredible story. I LOVE how spot on the video is in terms of branding, and if you’re a fan of Sailor Jerry’s, or The Misfits who provide the soundtrack to the montage, you’re going to love this.
In all fairness, it’s just a great visually and aurally. Take a look….and if you want to “like” or “share” it – the original facebook link is here.
I adore Sailor Jerry’s image. I love the way they make tattoo’s cool and have such a great association with good old drunk fun. Just one question, Sailor Jerry’s Gods, who get nearly everything right. WHEN CAN WE HAVE THE OLD RECIPE BACK? The new one is just not as delicious.
Like if you agree 😉
The Misfits track, Where Eagles Dare, is available as a single here, or on the Legacy of Brutality album here.
