#KickCancer

Today, I received the news that one of Twitters most loved ladies, @BubblyBex, lost her long and HARD fight with Cancer.

I never met Rebecca face to face, but I have friends who did and who loved her dearly. It’s heart breaking – as with any loss – but particularly so because if Bex’s optimism, courageousness and beauty, inside and out. Rebecca Joyce was the founder of twitter’s #kickcancer campaign – which has done so much to raise awareness and funds to help us towards the goal of finally beating this evil disease once and for all.

Chances are you’ve all been touched by cancer at some point. It’s a sad truth. I think that now more than ever, to stop it ruining even more lives, it’s up to us to help finance the resources that lead to easing and eventually eradication of the pain and suffering it causes once and for all.

So please today, take some time out to donate whatever you can to any of the cancer charities listed below in the name of Bex – or anyone else you know of who has been affected by what she would call “the little c”.

It doesn’t have to be much. £1 – £100. Whatever you can spare. Let’s just do our bit towards making a difference and #kickcancer once and for all.

  • Bowel Cancer UK – donate
  • Breakthrough Breast Cancer – donate
  • Breast Cancer UK – donate
  • Cancer Recovery Foundation UK – donate
  • Cancer Research UK – donate
  • CLIC Sargent – donate
  • Everyman – donate
  • Jo’s Cervical Cancer Trust – donate
  • Maggies Centres – donate
  • Macmillan Cancer Support – donate

RIP Rebecca Joyce – and love and strength to your family and those who knew and loved you so much x
