Launched May 6th, Open Mon – Friday (Check hours)
This is one launch I’m particularly excited about. Think New York Deli, with sandwiches the size of your head, and you’ll get the picture. Choose from Salt Beef, Smoked Turkey or Smoked Salmon, combined with a variety of mustards or cheeses or slaws (This is making me hungry). There is also Prosecco on tap, and New York style cheesecake, which makes me very happy indeed. What’s not to love here??

Under the arches in Haggerston you’ll find uber-cool Berber & Q, a new Grill House that takes it’s influences from the Middle East, North Africa and NYC. Founders Josh Katz and Mattia Bianchi smoke their meats, then they’re marinated and basted in their own juices while being grilled over a bespoke Turkish mangal. The sides and vegetable dishes here are also delicious and of course, they’re serving craft beers and some original wines. Deep house kicks in around 9.30pm and the bar gets busy. If you’re near Kingsland Road and appreciate great hunks of meat, this is definitely one for you.

These doughnuts are AMAZING, with original and sensational flavours including peanut butter & berry, sea salt caramel & banana cream and orange chocolate. They’re also exclusively serving Assembly Roast coffee which is well worth the try. PLUS – they’ll even deliver within a certain area, which is excellent news. Except for those of you on a diet of course. Then it’s DANGEROUS.

[row][column class=” col-sm-4″]Carom Madison pop up[/column][column class=” col-sm-8″]Carom at Madison Summer Pop-Up
Launched May 18th, Open lunch + dinner until 18th June
While the fantastic Carom Soho is unfortunately currently closed due to a fire, Head Chef Vishnu Natarajan isn’t putting his feet up and having a rest. Oh no. Instead, he’s taken over one of London’s gorgeous rooftop spaces for a month long pop-up. They’ll be serving all of Carom’s signature dishes, along with lighter bites(such as spinach fritters, chicken tikka lollipops and tiger prawn skewers) priced from just £4. Spicy food and one of London’s best views. Sounds like a winner to me.
