If you’ve lived in London more than 4 minutes, you’ve heard of the Breakfast Club, right?
Right.
Of course you have. Well, our restaurant news of the day is rather exciting for all you fans, as TBC team are finally moving themselves south of the river and opening a new venue in Clapham. About time too. Not everyone gets a nosebleed when they head south, y’know.
The menu at the new Clapham restaurant, which is the fifth London restuarant for the chain, will be familiar to anyone who has dined in the other locations. The Breakfast Club is a huge favourite for – errrm, breakfasts – but they do so much more than that too. Along with excellent eggs, pancakes and burritos, they’ll also be serving buffalo wings and steaks as well as the Cow vs Pig Burger. Any burger topped with pulled pork is a winner in my eyes.
The Clapham branch will be a little bit retro – and rather excitingly will have a 70’s themed bar attached. “The King of the Ladies Man” will serve classic cocktails, such as the Pina Colada, with a modern twist.
This is bound to be as big a hit as the other Breakfast Club cafes. Clapham is the perfect location for them – I just can’t believe it’s taken so long!
