The OLIVIERS, how exciting! I wanna go! 🙂 x
I recently saw the Macbeth starting James McAvoy in Traf Transformed season and it was just startling to see how powerful this theatre could be, right in front of your eyes!
I would love to see The Book of Mormon – like the rest of London!
I’d like to see Beautiful Thing at the Arts Theatre. Going to the Olivier Awards would be just amazing.
I’d like to see Beautiful Thing at the Arts Theatre and attending the Olivier Awards would be amazing !
I would love to go see Matilda in westend from Sally barry
I would love to go see les miserables as it inspires me to be performing in the westend one day i have tried to get tickets for oliviers but no luck fingers crossed on this one Beth
I was taken to see The Judas Kiss with Rupert Everett. The man himself was captivating and Freddie Fox was brilliant! This is a fantastic competition for someone interested in theater and being able to be a part of it for an evening!
I saw the Lion King and thought it was absolutely amazing!
The Bodyguard is a fantastic must see show!
Very exciting comp! Good luck everyone!
My favourite show is Phantom of the Opera I have seen it twice and would happily see it again. Amazing.
As a romantic and loyal person I will go for PHANTOM OF THE OPERA my first musical and will see it again and again. Although there are many others great musicals I still hope PHANTOM will win the Olivier as the best long running musical. If I have a chance to go to this year Oliver I will share more images with ‘THIS LITTLE LADY’ https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_I15mcaaqMQ&list=UUMprbtsOCt6vyYyGwEPS3OA
I would love to see The Book of Mormon. Have attended their ticket lottery on numerous occasions already to try and get a pair of tickets and friends have commented on how original and funny the songs, cast and script are.
I saw Cabaret & was blown away by this musical… I expected singing & dancing which I got in abundance. What I did not expect was to be shocked and moved to tears by its underlying story. It taught me a history lesson & left me with a lasting impression. Bravo Cabaret & Bravo to the cast & ensemble.
THE BODYGUARD love the film, would love to see the musical
We Will Rock You is a show I have been wanting to see for ages
I have just seen Beautiful Thing at the Arts Theatre and it brought back wonderful memories of seeing it first time round 20 years ago. Still as brilliant, powerful and ‘beautiful’ today as it was back then. Theatre that never leaves you..
Recently went to the preview of ‘Once the Musical’ at Phoenix Theatre. With minimal props (a mock-up of a Dublin bar on the stage) it feels like a cross between a concert and drama. Quite different from the usual staging. Thoroughly enjoyed it though and would recommend.
I would love to see Billy Elliott as I’m sure the dancing would be amazing and it is such a poignant and inspiring story.
I recently saw The BodyGuard, which was absolutely fantastic and I LOVED it!. The female lead has the most amazing voice. She gave me goosebumps! Everything a London show should be!
I would LOVE to see Les mis
Billy Elliott was amazing!! could quite easily watch again and again.
I am a romantic and loyal person so I choose PHANTOM OF THE OPERA the first musical I saw and many more times after 27 years. 🙂
Want want want to go ! xxxx
Recently watched the bodyguard……would love to see the Book of Mormon ….
Hey JJ, loving your blog! In regards to the question above; I would have to say that my most favourite show in the West End is Blood Brothers, HOWEVER… As it’s now closed, my equally as good second best definatley would have to be Les Miserables (which I’ve seen three times). It’s visually impressive with a deep and powerful storyline which implys moments of power, loss and struggle and the good in people, fighting for what they believe in.
Enjoy the rest of your week! 😀
Charles J
Les Miserables is my all time favourite show. I never tire of seeing it. have seen it many times a year since my first visit in 1989
I was lucky enough to see Cabaret, what a show!
I’d like to see The Mousetrap, its the longest running show in the West End but I still haven’t gotten around to seeing it!
Matilda….. LOVED it 🙂
So many – but if I had to choose one – would go and see Bolleywood Nights – really fun and colourful
Saw Woman in Black a while ago and I never forgot it, it’s brilliant!! So much better than the film.
I saw Matilda and was shocked at how good it was – but I really really really want to see Les Miserables!!!!!!!
Les Mis for sure! 🙂 Great prize!
Would love to see The Bodyguard – have only seen Shrek and The Lion King which were great but The Bodyguard would be more of a grown up experience!
Would love to win this amazing prize x
I recently saw Jersey Boys and I absolutely loved it. Brilliant Show!
The show i would love to see the most (Again for the 4th time) is Phantom of the opera. Literally breathtaking
Di & Viv & Rose was on recently at the Hampstead Theatre. I’m a huge fan of Anna Maxwell-Martin anyway. I felt this was an inspiring and powerful story, really well written and a believeable story of friendship, loss and love.Thoroughly enjoyed it!
One random girl and her mother at the Oliviers!!! how priceless!!!!
I Would like to see A Chorus Line
A celebration of great theatre makes for a fantastic evening
I’d love to see Les Miserables!
I’d love to see Viva Forever!

The most remarkable show that I have seen is Beauty and the Beast! I thought it was wonderful. The Lion King was also great. I think I am still a child at heart. Good luck everyone x

Saw Les Mis, who doesnt cry at this fab show. Loved every minute and would see it again in a heartbeat.
I want to see Wicked, I’ve read the book, listened to the Soundtrack, and I desperately want to be in the audience watching the story come to life!
Matilda was utterly fantastic. The cast of children were impressively talented, and Miss Trunchball had me falling off my seat with laughter!
Would so love to see Singing In The Rain and get splashed!
Would love to see Matilda. Not something I’d usually see, but all the reviews rave about it.
Theres lots of shows that I could watch over and over, but I’d probably choose the Lion KIng as it is the first West End show my son worked on!
The last time I went to the theatre I saw Cool Hand Luke., It was a Great Production..The Acting was perfection. The Scenery and Costumes were just right..Before the start of the play I had wondered how they were going to do the boiled eggs scene…But when it came to it it was so believable and I was at the front so I could see clearly..It just looks so real..very impressed..
What a fantastic prize! It would be such an experience to attend the Olivier Awards. I’d love to see Matilda the musical as I’ve heard nothing but good reviews and believe it won quite a few Olivier’s last year!
I absolutely loved Billy Elliot – brilliant show and fantastic cast!
I recently saw Rock of Ages, it was fantastic spent the whole show lauging and singing along and then got up and had a dance at the end.
I’d love to see Les Mis (except I know I’ll be crying as soon as the music starts) or Wicked. Or The Jersey Boys. I love a ‘glossy musical’. Will need two boxes of tissues or a mask! Would like to take my niece who starts her uni course in film production in September and loves all things theatre and film. This would be such a special treat for her (assuming I’m not too embarassing to sit next to!)
Top Hat has your feet tapping
I’d like to see Les Miserables (again!) I watched it a couple of times with my Mum – we used to save up for it each year and I can hear her now singing ‘can you hear the music play’. Sadly she is no longer with us but Les Miserables doesn’t fail to bring back very happy memories.
Very pleased to announce that Emma Thorne was the lucky winner! 2 tickets winging their way to you now Emma 🙂
Thanks to everyone else for taking the time to enter too x
I would love to see Matilda, it won so many awards last year it must be great 🙂
Sorry Richard, the competition is now closed!
