I am lucky enough to get invited to wonderful events every night. In reality, I wear whatever I can rustle up from my (already overflowing) wardrobes…but in my head, I wear the most wonderful, stylish, designer garms, fresh from the runway.
So…whilst what I actually wear isn’t always very exciting…what I wish I wore generally is!
Tonight is the launch of Obikà in South Kensington and I’m looking forward to heading along with the boyfriend to see what this new Italian, which serves food in the style of Sushi restaurants, has to offer. I’ll be wearing a cute navy print dress, with high sandals and this lovely little clutch…
But in my dreams?
This beautiful Catherine Deane Larue Lace Shoulder Dress (Now £308.00 Was £440.00, My Wardrobe), teamed with Alexander McQueen Knuckle Velvet Clutch (£1095 from Selfridges) and these Marc Jacobs Peep-toe Courts (Now£138.00 was £277.00, My Wardrobe).
After the launch, we’ll be dashing along to Somerset House to catch M83’s Summer Session with AMEX. In all truth, there’ll be no chance to change, but in my lovely dreams I’d make a quick change into this gorgeous, yet much more casual outfit. The Jeans are J Brand 912 Skinnies (£190, Selfridges). We’ve kept the same shoes as above, would wear a plain white vest or tee, and this stunning Burberry Brit Shearling Biker Jacket from My Wardrobe (£1095) as let’s face it – while it’s meant to be summer, it’s cold out there!
UGH! A girl is allowed to dream, right?
